Aim High.. You will reach your dreams one day

I was going through all my photos that I have done over the years and wanted to share one of my favorites of all time. This was right after I got my first "professional" camera and I was wandering around downtown Houston taking different shots. I came across these skateboarders and for the first time EVER got brave and asked them to pose. I took these photos.. not even noticing the HOUSTON engraving in the background and also just asking these boys to pose however. I love this photo.. it reminds me of where I was.. and how far I have come to achieve my dream.

Going to try to blog everything from now on..

I am terrible at blogging.. I am happy when I get photos listed on Facebook!! LOL

.. But I must admit that the second I see my favorite photographer post a new blog, I immediately go to it to see the new photos and the cute story to go with it!

That said.. I will now work to blog as soon as I finish a shoot.. well maybe the day or two after.

I will start with Jennifer's Birthday Party!

I met Jennifer through a friend a few months back. She is such a sweetheart! I was touched when she asked me to please be responsible for capturing her friends and family at her upcoming birthday party! The party was a black and white theme.. as you can see.. and the photos turned out great!
